Image Studio Calculator
Convert to JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, TIFF or PDF; crop, rotate, resize, compress to a target size and download as ZIP — files never leave your device.
What it does
Converts, crops, rotates, resizes and compresses images in your browser, and can combine them into one PDF or download them as a ZIP. Nothing is uploaded.
Where it's used
Meeting upload limits on forms (“under 200 KB”), making social-media sizes, converting phone photos and turning scans into a PDF.
How to use it
- Drop images in (add more at any time; reorder with ↑ ↓).
- Optional: crop (free or a fixed ratio), rotate or flip.
- Choose a size preset and the output format.
- Optional: set a target file size in KB, then press Process images and download.
The formula explained
- Quality
- JPG / WebP / AVIF compression level — lower is smaller
- Target size
- the tool searches quality, then scales down only if it must
- Fit
- how an image fills a fixed size: fit, crop to fill, stretch or pad
Tips and common mistakes
- JPG is best for photos, PNG for screenshots and graphics, WebP for the web.
- PNG, BMP and TIFF are lossless, so only resizing can shrink them.
- Output files contain no EXIF metadata such as GPS location.
Questions people ask
Can it shrink a photo to an exact size such as 50 KB?
Yes. Set a target file size in KB and the tool lowers the JPG or WebP quality and, if needed, the dimensions until the file fits — handy for online application forms.
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device, and the files you download contain no EXIF data such as GPS location.
Can I combine several images into one PDF?
Yes. Add the images, put them in order with the ↑ and ↓ buttons, and choose PDF as the output to get one document with a page per image.
